NbTaHf Alloys (Nb-7.5Ta-2Hf and Nb-7.5Ta-1Hf)

The doping of Ta and Hf elements can refine the grain size of Nb₃Sn phase. So they can make Nb₃Sn wire obtain a higher critical current density. It let the critical current density more than three times of the present level. High purity and high uniformity Nb-Ta-Hf alloy is used to prepare Nb₃Sn wire.Ta and Hf elements are doped to achieve grain refinement and improve the performance of Nb3Sn wire.
